I have always loved a food and cooking with a passion. From a very young
age, I was preparing family meals and baking cakes. Although I didn't go
into the food industry right away I took numerous cooking classes and received
my chef's license at George Brown.
Throughout I catered for weddings and business functions. About ten
years ago, I had a brain embolism resulting in some paralysis.
Through hard work I have recovered but I realize that there are many
people just like myself, who are trying to recover in their own home
while maintaining their independence.
